A free ZBrush to RizomUV bridge

UV work is one of those tasks where the tool switching costs more than the task. You take a mesh out of ZBrush, export it, find it in a file dialogue, open it in RizomUV, do thirty seconds of actual work, then reverse the whole procedure to get it back. Do that a dozen times across a character and the export and import cycle has quietly eaten more of the afternoon than the unwrapping did.

So we built a bridge, and we have published it for free: ZBrush 2026 to RizomUV 2025 Bridge, on the ArtStation marketplace.

What it does

One action sends the current SubTool to RizomUV. You unwrap, and the processed mesh comes back. No file dialogues, no hunting through an export folder for the version you meant, no wondering whether you reimported the right one.

It is deliberately narrow. It does not try to be a UV toolkit, and it does not change how either application works. It removes a piece of friction that sits between two tools that are each very good at their own job.

Requirements

  • ZBrush 2026
  • RizomUV 2025
  • Windows

The download is a 16 KB zip. It is released under an extended commercial licence, which means you can use it on paid work with no restrictions attached.

Why give it away

Because it was built to solve our own problem, and it costs us nothing to hand it on. Tooling of this size is not a product. It is the sort of thing that should exist, and once it exists somebody else may as well have it. It sits with the rest of what we publish for other developers, and it comes out of the same pipeline as our material work.
